These galvanized hammerless "hub stake" survey nails easily penetrate the soil due to their smaller diameter shank, and the nail head is dimpled and stamped with an X for easier survey point occupation. Nails are 8" long x 3/16" in diameter and made of galvanized carbon steel (for rigidity and easy metal detection), with dimpled and cross-scored heads.
